OM MA NI PAD-ME HUNG !!!

Om Mani Padme Hung (Hail the jewel in the lotus) is a six syllable invocation (Mantra) of Avalokiteswara on who is invoked as the savior and the Protector from danger. One who recites this Mantra, s/he will be saved from all dangers and will be protected. So this Mantra is widely found in every field of Mahayana Buddhism. One can find this Mantra inscribed on rocks, prayer wheels, singing bowls, Stupa (Buddhist monument), loose stones heaped as Mani (jewels) on roads, paths, mountain passes, the approaches and exits of villages. One who turns one round of this prayer wheel, it means he recites millions of this Mantra. As this Mantra saves from all dangers, people use it as pendent, rings, and many other forms for protection and for good luck.

Om Mani Padme Hung is not only a Mantra but it is bigger than just a mantra for Tibetans and Buddhists living in the Himalayan region. It’s a prayer with limitless recepients, an unconditional prayer for all sentient beings. It is part of culture therefore, it is very much part of Buddhist life. The more you recite the better it is considered because it has internal benefits. Remember this prayer when you unintentionally kill an animal or creature or you see one dead. When you see a dead person or an animal recite Om Mani Padme Hung for purity of soul. When you yawning, when you get scared, when your loved one are sick or ill. This Mantra will give you strength, courage and calmness, when you need them.
As I have mentioned in previous paragrap that since this mantra (prayer) is part of the culture, it is being used in many varieties objects to make you remeber more. For example, Tibetan Singing Bowl with prayer carved. It is a tool of transformation towards higher understanding of our mind, body & spirit. As singing bowl is made out of many different metals such as copper, brass, iron, bronze & many other different metal mixed together, it does not only sing and relaxes us but also it gives us metal energy through our hand & palm. Vibration relaxes the muscles of our body. The sound penetrates through our nervous system and calms us down with soothing feeling. Many Buddhist monks and followers have used singing bowls for 100s of years and they believe it is definitely a tool to meditate and to realize the present moment.

As you are more tuned into singing bowl, it will automatically produce sound rather than tapping on the edge. You simply have to stir it around the edge in very slow motion, giving a little pressure and increase in motion. Singing bowl will however not cure any diseases nor heal. It is simply a tool to enjoy and be in the present moment.

Some singing bowls have 8 auspicious symbols and some have double thunderbolt increased design in the middle.

SAMANTABHADRA

Namaste, Today I would like to weblog on Samantabhadra a little bit.
Buddhism is deep. In my perspective to understand Buddhism, we must understand the concept of Buddhism. Bodhisattvas are those beings who will be born again again for the benefit of human being. In other words to help human being into right direction. It could be very well among us in daily basis without even knowing. In this blog I have included Samantabhadra, who represents Universal Goodness also the union between male & female. There are three groups with sixteen Bodhisattvas. Among these three groups one group is headed by Samanta Bhadra (Universal goodness). So he is important as the leader of sixteen Bodhisattvas. He is not less important than the Future Buddha Maitreya who is head of the two other lists of Bodhisattvas. He embraced by his consort “Dharmavajra”.
Creativity that is what counts in Buddhism. Think logically with good attitude and good intention, that is what matters the most. So, keeping that concept in mind, I thought having such degree of artwork in merchandise makes a whole lot difference. This will not only create awareness but also these types of art worked merchandise will give a whole another perspective on Buddhist concept. Most probably, in orthodox Buddhism I think these types of ideas are not permitted because it is considered disrespectful to the deities or Buddhist ideas however, I think as time evolves so as our mind, concept & ideas. Buddhism is all about exploring our horizon of mind. Therefore, I have designed these products to give a whole new look on Buddhism. These types of products can be located at the following website, which I made for people like you.
